Shibari in Dubai

Learn, practise and connect through rope.

Shibari ME is a Dubai-rooted rope community that has been growing for nearly ten years, bringing together people across the UAE and the wider GCC who want to explore Shibari with care. Whether you are touching rope for the first time or refining a practice built over many years, there is a place for you here.

Every path begins with safety and consent. Our Shibari classes start with Shibari 101, where you and your partner learn safe rope handling, clear communication and the foundations everything else is built on. From there, you can progress through intermediate and advanced training all the way to suspension.

Beyond the classroom, our workshops, rope jams and special events offer regular chances to practise alongside others in a welcoming, vetted community. For couples seeking a more immersive experience, we also host private three-day retreats in a secluded villa setting, and our retreat FAQ answers the questions couples ask most.
